Juniorské vítězství Jandové a Řepy z Favoritu Brno
Téměř kompletní juniorská špička se sešla na víkendových závodech v Jablonci nad Nisou. Sobotní kritérium ve sportovním areálu Břízky je velmi krásná a těžká trať. Tyto podmínky maximálně vyhovovaly Veronice Jandové, která se v půlce závodu pustila do samostatného úniku. Strojovým tempem neustále navyšovala svůj náskok a poctivě sbírala body. Celkový součet jí vynesl vítězství s obrovským náskokem ve společné kategorii žen a juniorek. V nedělním Českém poháru na okruhu v Hodkovicích nad Mohelkou se přibližně v půli závodu utvořila na čele čtyřčlenná skupinka děvčat v čele s vedoucí ženou ČP Nikolou Bajgerovou. Holky vzorně spolupracovaly až do posledního kopce, kde se právě Bajgerová snažila své soupeřky setřást. Tento pokus byl neúspěšný a tak všechny holky dojely pohromadě a rozhodoval společný spurt. Ve skupině byly dvě juniorky a Veronika jen těsně nestačila na Markétu Hájkovou, která bude v příštím roce závodit již za ženský italský profesionální tým. „Včerejší kriterium bylo spíše na rozjetí před dnešním závodem, proto jsem byla samotná překvapena jak dobře to jelo. Závod byl těžký a to mi sedí. Dnešní závod se mi jel taky velmi dobře, šlo o jednu z posledních prověrek před MS, takže z toho mám dobrý pocit“, hodnotila po dojezdu Veronika. Junioři byli neméně úspěšní, z počátku závodu byl aktivní Adam Křenek, v posledním kole se do úniku dostal Vojta Kadlec, který byl v závěru nápomocen Vojtovi Řepovi jehož drtivému závěru nebyl schopen nikdo odolávat a dojel si osamoceně pro vítězství. „Na začátku sezóny v Kyjově mi vítězství těsně uniklo, teď jsem se konečně dočkal“, pousmál se po závodě Vojta. Žáky reprezentoval v Jablonci Štěpán Telecký, který si z víkendového závodu odváží pěkné 4. a 9.místo. Zbytek žákovské skupiny reprezentoval na místních závodech v Hrušovanech u Brna a Říčanech, odkud si odváží spousty pódiových umístění.
