Galaxy Stevens série startuje 27.6.
Jeden z tradičních otvíráků bajkové sezóny je zpět, i když díky pandemii COVID-19 v pozdějším termínu, ale ve zcela v novém outfitu, novým pořadatelem, ale na tradičních pohodových tratích. Letošní již 11. ročník bude opět v celorepublikovém seriálu horských kol Galaxy Stevens série.

Závod se koná v neděli 27.6.2021, což je přesně jeden den po závodě Českého poháru horských kol v Bedřichově, což jistě bude lákadlem pro mnoho nejen elitních bajkerů jak si po náročném sobotním závodě „vytočit“ nohy. Pokud se podíváme do historie, tak předešlé ročníky vyhrál Michal Malík, Lukáš Smola, Michal Bubílek nebo Jan Nesvadba. V ženských kategoriích zvítězila dvakrát Lenka Fridrichová nebo Ivana Loubková.
Slavnostní start závodu je nově od rybníku v nedalekých Lázních Kunratice, dále vedou tratě oblastí bývalého vojenského prostoru mezi Mimoní, Stráží pod Ralskem, Hamrem na Jezeře s cílem u Základní školy v Osečné, což dává možnost příjemného a rychlého závodění na lesních zpevněných cestách s krásnými výhledy na dominanty tohoto kraje, kterými jsou Bezděz, Děvín a Ralsko.

Hlavní závod na dlouhé trati 58 km odstartuje ve 12:00, následuje ve 12:15 kratší trať 25 km společně s dětským maratonem, který je další novinkou tohoto závodu.
Na závodníky čeká řada novinek. Díky generálnímu partnerství Oborové zdravotní pojišťovně OZP čeká na závodníky parádní servis v průběhu celého závodu. Před závodem nebo na trati bude čekat na závodníky servisní depo. Služby pro závodníky bude nabízet zdarma firma Kolofix. Sportovní výživu během závodu bude zajišťovat firma Penco. V cíli bude na závodníky čekat pivní mok od Pivovaru Rohozec či tradiční malinovka. Velkou novinkou bude pro všechny závodníky startovací balíček s dárkem a pamětní originální medaile!
