V Kyjově se v neděli 27. září sešli mládežníci i muži
Teprve třetí díl Škoda Cupu – Českého poháru mužů na silnici, kterým byl závod Regionem Kyjovského Slovácka na trati dlouhé 123,5 km, vyhrál polský jezdec Patryk Stosz ze stáje Voster Ats Team. Již na dvacátém kilometru se pustil do odvážného sólového úniku polský jezdec Piotr Brozyna (Voster Ats Team) a vydržel v něm dalších téměř sto kilometrů. Soupeři jej však nechali získat náskok jen do dvou minut, když vše kontrolovali především jezdci Elkov Kasper. Zostra závodit se opravdu začalo až na posledních dvou desetikilometrových okruzích, které byly náročné svým stoupání a přitom i technické, poté co Brozynu peloton dojel. Startovní pole se tak doslova roztrhalo na malé skupinky a jednotlivce. Z našich závodníků dokončili 23. Modlitba, 25. Schuran, 36. Pileček a 38. Jakoubek. „Tento závod se nevydařil úplně podle našich představ, ale věřím, že kluci se o výsledky ještě poperou na posledních dvou pohárových závodech příští víkend v Brdech a v Mladé Boleslavi“, zhodnotil předseda klubu Jiří Kala. Závěrečným závodem byl v Kyjově zakončen letošní silniční seriál Techniserv Cupu pro mládežnické kategorie a ženy. Mezi kadety projel cílovou páskou na 24.místě Vít Kudweis a mezi ženami na 8.místě Alexandra Strnadová.
