Favorit Brno U23 – na závodech v Rakousku jsme se neztratili
Po třítýdenní závodní pauze jsme se opět vrátili do kolotoče závodů. O víkendu absolvovali cyklisté týmu mužů Favoritu Brno dvě jednorázovky v Rakousku. V sobotu se jel na nové trati Rakouský pohár, kde skončil Petr Hampl v nabité konkurenci třináctý. „Byl to opravdu náročný závod na těžké trati, která všechny naše kluky pořádně prověřila. Přece jen bylo znát, že za sebou máme pauzu, takže v danou chvíli je to hodně solidní výsledek a maximum,“ uvedl šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal. V neděli jeho svěřenci startovali na další jednorázovce už na lehčím okruhu. David Kulhánek obsadil 10. místo, Michal Procházka byl 11., Vojtěch Kmínek 21. a Adam Sekanina 22. Spolu s nimi a Hamplem startovali ještě Rotter a Voneš. „Byly to dobré starty na rozjetí po pauze věnované odpočinku a tréninku. Teď už nás prověří ostrý závod, domácí etapák Vysočina, kde startujeme od čtvrtka. Věřím, že budeme vidět,“ dodal František Trkal.
