Závodní víkend v Ostravě a stříbro pro Boubala
Závodní víkend odstartoval v sobotu večerním kritériem v Ostravě, které se jelo jako Memoriál Jana Veselého. Závod se jel na 100km a během závodu byly vypisovány finanční prémie, což značně zvýšilo tempo závodu. V polovině závodu se od pelotonu oddělila devíti členná skupina uprchlíků, kdy měly zastoupení všechny favorizované týmy. Očekávaně zde měl převahu hradecký Elkov Author, který se snažil v posledních 10km skupinu nadělit. To se také povedlo a do cíle dorazil s minimálním náskokem Bucháček (Elkov Author) a stříbrnou příčku obsadil Martin Boubal. Na pódiu je doplnil Palička (Topforex Lapierre). V hlavním poli ještě spurtoval Martin Hebík a obsadil tak 7.místo. Za deštivého počasí v neděli ve Slatině odstartoval šestý díl Českého poháru na silnici. Pro sólové vítězství si v něm po čtyřech a půl hodinách dojel Karel Hník (Pardus Tufo Prostějov) před úřadujícím mistrem republiky Josefem Černým a průběžně vedoucím závodníkem poháru Matějem Zahálkou (oba Elkov Author). Závodníci absolvovali celkem sedm náročných okruhů. Hned v úvodním kole se podařilo od pelotonu odpoutat trojici Luděk Lichnovský (Pardus Tufo Prostějov), Petr Swaczyna (CK Feso Petřvald) a Tomáš Jakoubek (CK Příbram Fany-Gastro). Tato trojice si vybudovala místy až tříminutový náskok. Ke skupince uprchlíků se pak ještě na malou chvíli připojili další čtyři závodníci, dvě kola před cílem byla ale hlavní skupina opět pohromadě. V šestém kole pak zaútočil úřadující mistr republiky Josef Černý (Elkov Author), se kterým odjel také Karel Hník (Pardus Tufo Prostějov). Tato dvojice vzorně spolupracovala a bylo jasné, že se mezi sebou utkají o vítězství. Z toho se nakonec radoval Karel Hník, kterému hrál do karet náročný výjezd před cílem. Z prořídlého hlavního pole se pak nejlépe z našich závodníků umístil Martin Boubal na 6. místě a velmi dobře si vedl Vojtěch Modlitba na 15.místě.
Dále dojeli 25. Jakoubek, 32. Malik, 33. Hebík, 35. Kuba a 45. Pleva.
Před posledním díle ČP, který se jede 23.9. v Židovicích si mezi jednotlivci vede nejlépe Boubal na 8.místě, který přišel o jeden start díky nemoci. V soutěži týmů si stále držíme 2. místo.
