Ve Střeni vyhrál v gravelu Tomáš Kalojíros, Kulhavý dojel čtvrtý
Tradice cyklistických závodů ve Střeni má za sebou nové pokračování. Hlavní závod v rozvíjející se disciplíně – gravelu ovládl ve spurtu osmadvacetiletý závodník týmu ZPcyklo PROOFY cycling team Tomáš Kalojíros.
Celý den závodění na kole začal ve Střeni závody pro ty nejmenší. Ti se představili za vydatného povzbuzování diváků kolem trati na malém okruhu v ulicích obce. Poté následovaly dvě starší dětské kategorie na tradičním okruhu po hrázi za obcí, v krásném prostředí místních lesů.
SLUNEČNÉ POČASÍ A DOBRÁ NÁLADA
„Největší radost působila právě kategorie nejmenších dětí v ulicích obce,“ komentoval průběh dopoledne pořadatel akce Michal Frantík. Závod nejmenších komentoval od mikrofonu osobně ambasador akce a bývalý cyklistický reprezentant Tomáš Konečný, a to včetně rozhovorů s dětmi.
Odpoledne pak došlo na dlouho očekávaný hlavní závod. Ten se stal kořistí Tomáše Kalojírose, (ZPcyklo PROOFY Cycling), jenž na 62 kilometrů dlouhé trase Litovelským Pomoravím porazil Daniela Mayera (KC Hlinsko) a bajkera Filipa Adela (Superior Team).
Mezi ženami vyhrála závod Hanáckého gravelu Naďa Voráčová.
Na startu se objevil i olympijský vítěz a legenda MTB Jaroslav Kulhavý (Ostra – Multicraft Čeladná), jenž dokončil na 4. místě. Páté místo pak obsadil Pavel Žák závodící za tým Cykloop.cz BT Morkovice.
V závodě horských kol pod názvem Olomoucký řetěz MTB 2023 dominoval Marek Dolníček (Open Cycling Academy) před Luďkem Kellnerem Lichnovským (Aspire Sports s.r.o) a závodníkem z pořádajícího týmu Filipem Wiedermannem (Cyklo Team Kolárna).
Celkovou vítězkou v kategorii žen se stala Jarka Dohnalová (Loko Campagnolo Krnov).
