Sezóna 2023 končí – 132. sezóna Slávie začíná
Slavia chce v roce 2024, opět navázat na svou slavnou historii
Účastníka TDF za celou existenci klubu máme pouze jednoho a to Otakara Rozvodu v roce 1948, ale už ne za Slavii, nýbrž za profesionální tým. Podobné je to s medailemi z mistrovství světa, titul mistra světa ze slávistů získal Aleš Trčka, ale jeho mateřským klubem, byla již v té době Dukla Praha. Podobně též již v Dukle si medaile z MS přivezl Robert Štěrba. Účast na MS se občas povede i přímo slávistům, vždyť letos si nominaci a nakonec i účast ve Skotsku vyjel Karel Kopr. A například vítězství z mezinárodní akce Sudety MTB Chalenge si přivezl Jan Kučera. Medaile z MR, jsou podstatně častěji, loni 2022 to bylo stříbro ve stíhačském omniu masters na dráze (Karel Kopr), Titul mistra republiky na dráze i celkové vítězství v Masters Day získal v letech 2019, 2020 a 2021 Jiří Hledík. V mezinárodních závodech získal 8. místo z Mistrovství Evropy v cross country Karel Šíma (2022). Před ním si medaili ze světového poháru UCI Grand Fondo, těsně před kovidem přivezl z Dubaje Jiří Hledík. To jsou naši nejznámější jezdci kategorie masters, ale i v elitní kategorii se občas medaile povede. Ve Slavistickém dresu medaile z akademických MR přivezl Pavel Jelínek, titul mistra v roce 2006 vyhrál Lukáš Staněk a v ženách máme poslední elitní titul na silnici z roku 2008 od Evy Potočné, bronz ve stejném roce získala Daniela Fialová. To jsou medaile z tohoto století. V tom minulém jich bylo nepočítaně. Přehled medailí by byl na několik stránek, proto zmíním jen ty nejslavnější: V 70 letech to bylo trio Štěrba, Trčka, Zong. Před nimi legendární Jiří Horký, ještě před ním Čapek, Sulantský, Jauris, ve válečných letech vyhrával Otakar Rozvoda a před ním František Haupt. V předminulém století, byli osobnostmi Slavie zejména Václav Kratochvíl (mistr Alpských zemí), ale například Heřman a Jaroslav Hausmanové.
Vraťme se však do současnosti: Musíme s politováním konstatovat, že mládí z klubu odchází a to: Jakub Mayer (Kovo Praha), Jakub Machát (KTM Gratz), Samuel Mišejka (Unlimited KM Trading). Jestli je někdo nahradí, nevíme, ale stávající tým chce rozhodně navázat na úspěchy slavných historických jmen. V plánu mimo závodů v ČR, máme minimálně jeden závod UCI Grand Fondo serie a snad i znovu účast na mistrovství světa. Po letošní pauze chceme opět uspořádat VC Temelína a doufejme, že proběhne i jarní týmové soustředění. S ohledem na týmový rozpočet, asi jen na jihu Čech než na jihu Evropy. Počítat můžeme s podporou hned několika firem: Tradičním a cenným parterem je značka Isostar. S koly a doplňky na ně nám pomáhají Robert Štěrba – kola s.r.o., Cyklošvec s.r.o. a Cylosport RIK s.r.o., S dopravou na závody zase pomáhá – koncesionář značky Peugeot firma Federal Cars Praha, která nám již pátý rok půjčuje vozy. Finančně, ale i zázemím při závodech výrazně pomáhá skupina ČEZ a.s. Využíváme zázemí lékařské ambulance LPV. Ekonomicky přispívají firmy Enerdomy s.r.o. a TV tech CZ s.r.o. + spousta drobných přispěvatelů většinou z řad členů. Jsme sice amatéři, každý z nás chodí do práce, ale v rámci svých možností se snažíme dělat maxim, nejen pro chod týmu, ale i co nejlepší výsledky. Děkujeme za podporu v letošním roce a budeme se těšit v nové sezóně. V naší slávistické historii již s pořadovým číslem 132.
