Telecký druhý na Závodu míru nejmladších
Štěpán Telecký z Favoritu Brno zářil na Závodu míru nejmladších v Jevíčku, když v nabité konkurenci 162 cyklistů ze 14 zemí obsadil skvělé druhé místo! Poté, co vloni skončil pátý, do něj Favorit znovu vkládal velké naděje. A Telecký ukázal, že má skvělou formu i v září, kdy se kvůli koronaviru z května odložený Závod míru jel. V pěti etapách skončil dvakrát třetí a celkově z toho byla druhá příčka! „Ve druhé etapě odjela čtyřčlenná skupina, Štěpán v ní nechyběl a skončil třetí. V sobotu odpoledne se jela královská etapa a Telecký přijel do cíle hned za vedoucí skupinou. Po čtyřech etapách byl průběžně třetí. V neděli končil závod časovkou na 15 kilometrů, Štěpán skončil třetí, což ho katapultovalo na celkové druhé místo,“ popsal šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal. „Štěpán Telecký nad ostatními našimi závodníky vyčníval, ale jsem rád, že i ostatní kluci dokázali přidat pěkné výsledky. Muroň byl v časovce desátý a Vysočan šestnáctý. S vystoupením celého týmu jsem byl až na jednu etapu spokojen, ale bylo vidět, že někteří závodníci mají problémy s pohybem v tak velkém pelotonu a občas se s tou pozicí perou. Rád bych všem poděkoval za předvedené výkony, velký dík patří i celému realizačnímu týmu,“ dodal šéftrenér. Vítězství vybojoval Adam Seman (Stadion Louny).
