Petr Hampl – Role lídra se nezříkám, v každém závodě chci bojovat o pódium
I v tomto roce povede sestavu Favoritu Brno jako jednoznačný lídr Petr Hampl. S touto rolí je smířen a nemá s ní problém. „V každém závodě se chci porvat o co nejlepší výsledek a věřím, že se ke mně připojí i další kluci,“ říká Petr.
Jaké jsou tvoje hlavní priority a cíle v sezóně?
Vyhrávat a umísťovat se na bedně. Když to půjde, každý závod chci jet na výsledek. Chtěl bych začít dobře už na prvním českém poháru ve Velké Bíteši a speciálně bych chtěl uspět na Visegrádské 4 o pár týdnů později, kterou taky pořádá náš klub a bude tu mezinárodní účast. Chci samozřejmě zajet co nejlíp na mistrovství republiky, které by letos mělo být na klasikářském okruhu a mohlo by mi sedět. Rád bych uspěl i na závodech v Rakousku, které mě baví a jezdí se na profilově těžkých tratích.
Věříš v posun na bednu celkového pořadí Českého poháru? Vloni jsi skončil čtvrtý.
Určitě, v minulém roce mi jen těsně unikla, protože jsem vynechal jeden závod kvůli reprezentaci na mistrovství Evropy. Pokud budu mít vyrovnanou výkonnost jako minulé roky, není to nic nereálného a bude to další cíl.
Do sezóny vstupuješ teď jako jednoznačný lídr týmu. Jsi připraven, že tíha odpovědnosti na nejtěžších závodech bude ležet jen na tobě?
Ano, určitě. Už poslední roky to takhle bylo a já s tím počítám. Sám od sebe chci na každém závodě, aby byl výsledek co nejlepší, abych byl vnitřně spokojený. Někteří kluci jsou už starší a věřím, že se ke mně připojí.
Máš za cíl i start na nějaké vrcholné akci v reprezentačním dresu?
Rád bych se účastnil reprezentačních akci jako v minulých letech. Loňské Evropské hry byly pro mě velký zážitek. Znovu bych se chtěl dostat na mistrovství Evropy. Taky bych byl rád, kdyby bylo postaveno jako v minulých letech reprezentační družstvo na Czech Tour nebo na Okolo Slovenska.
Kromě výsledků se od tebe očekává i to, že své zkušenosti budeš předávat hlavně nováčkům. Jsi na to připraven?
Není to nic nového od jiných let. V tréninku kluci vypadají dobře a teď to chce jenom převést do závodu. Tam je potřeba, aby se naučili jezdit jako tým a výsledky se dostaví. Většina to zná a věřím, že noví kluci se to rychlé naučí.
Je dobré, že se tým oproti minulé sezóně příliš nezměnil?
Určitě, byli jsme dobrá parta, která si sedla. Letos přišlo pár nových kluků, kteří by měli ještě víc zvýšit konkurenceschopnost proti ostatním týmům. Myslím, že tým je dobře vyvážený. Půlka kluků je spíš do kopců a druhá půlka na roviny.
Jak jsi spokojen s přípravou na novou sezónu? Trénink ve Španělsku, příprava doma?
Zatím všechno probíhá dle plánu. Příprava doma probíhala stejně jako loni. Snažil jsem se zařadit víc jiných sportů včetně kola, abych vypadl ze stereotypu a bavilo mě to. Ve Španělsku máme ideální podmínky a trénovat tady je velká výhoda. Důležité u mě je zůstat zdravý a potom vím, že všechen ten trénink přinese své ovoce.
Na čem ses před sezónou snažil nejvíc zapracovat?
Loňskou sezonu jsem si ještě prodlužoval cyklokrosy, takže jsem končil na konci října. V přípravě jsem střídal tréninky na krosce v terénu a na silnici. Před odjezdem do Španělska jsme byli na testech, takže vím, na čem tady mám zapracovat a co mi chybí. A tím že už tu jsme třetí týden, vidím velký pokrok oproti tomu, když jsem sem přijel. Budu ve Španělsku přes měsíc, a to mi dává možnost se jako v minulých letech na sezónu maximálně připravit.
Jsi v ideálním cyklistickém věku. Spřádáš ještě plány na nějaký přestup výš?
Určitě. Přece jenom roky ubíhají a nikdo nemládne. Věřím, že výkonnost na to je a chce to jen trošku štěstí. Momentálně jsem ve fázi, kdy mě cyklistika naplňuje a baví. A když se do toho daří, což je odměna za všechno to úsilí, je to fajn. Cítím velkou podporu jak v týmu, tak v rodině a hlavně u mé přítelkyně. Ve Favoritu Brno jsem byl vždycky spokojený a myslím, že se to v týmu každý rok zlepšuje a podmínky máme rok od roku lepší.
