František Hojka 4. Zajímavostí je, že naši U23 se neztratí ani mezi elitními muži, protože zde Patrik drží průběžné 4. místo. I díky tomu si vybojovali pozici v národní reprezentaci. Václav oblékl reprezentační dres na Světovém poháru v Novém Městě na Moravě a Patrika
čeká start na Mistrovství Evropy v Portugalsku.
Kromě toho že naše mládež úspěšně pravidelně závodí v terénu, rozvíjíme jejich dovednosti pestře i na silnici. Proto se trojice našich žáků Stanislav Benda, Anna Bursíková a Nela Drábková zúčastnili 54. ročníku Malého závodu míru. Celosvětově unikátní akce, kde své první
velké vítězství slavila jména jako Mads Pedersen, Roman Kreuziger, nebo Mathias Vacek. Závod je koncipován pro starší žáky a kadetky.
Naše trio startující pod hlavičkou SCM Kolín patřilo mezi nejmladší účastníky. A v pelotonu se rozhodně neztratili. Nejvíce jsme se blýskli v
individuální časovce, kde žákyně Anna Bursíková dojela jako 3. mezi staršími kadetkami. Velmi dobře ji doplnila i 5. Nela Drábková.
Stanislav Benda zajel 18. nejrychlejší čas ze 125 startujících.
Těmito zmíněnými akcemi končí pomyslná první polovina letošní MTB sezóny. Ta druhou započneme na závodech Světového poháru v italském Val di Sole, kde nás v barvách národní reprezentace budou hájit František Hojka a Patrik Černý. A následně již všechny další akce budou přípravou na domácí šampionát v XCO v Bedřichově.
