Na ten byl připraven Tomáš Jakoubek s podporou Jakuba Pilečka. Bohužel v hlavním poli došlo v začínajícím dešti před stoupáním k pádu a Jakoubek, přesto že na zemi neskončil, musel měnit kolo. Ve sjezdu se Tomášovi podařilo vrátit do pelotonu, ale na čele byla již skupina uprchlíků. V posledních 15 km došlo v hlavním poli k dalšímu pádu a tomu se již Jakoubek nevyhnul a v ostrém tempu se již nedokázal vrátit do pelotonu a protl pásku na 31.místě. V pelotonu dojel uprchlík dne Michal Schuran na 15. místě a mladík Jakub Pileček na 23.místě. Zvítězil Adam Ťoupalík (Elkov Kasper) před Zdeňkem Štybarem (Deceuninck-Quick Step) a Petrem Vakočem (Alpecin Fenix). Za zmínku určitě stojí, že na náročné, mistrovské trati dokončilo pouze 45 závodníků, ze 141 startujících! A jak řekl expert ČT a bývalí závodník Petr Benčík v přímém přenosu: „Závodníci CK Příbram Fany Gastro každoročně patří k velmi aktivním závodníkům v mistrovském závodě a přesto, že nejsou profesionální celek, nezbývá než před nimi smeknout“.
