Cyklistický víkend na Temelíně
Během právě uplynulého víkendu jste mohli vidět hned několik soutěží a závodů, které byly všechny součástí akce s názvem Velká cena Temelína 2019. Závodní klání začalo v sobotu časovkou jednotlivců. Závod byl vypsán také jako Akademické mistrovství České republiky. A nutno zdůraznit, že vysokoškoláci zde nebyli jen do počtu. Vždyť obsadili první 4 místa v absolutním pořadí. Vítězem se stal Jiří Šorm (Favorit Brno / 1 LF UK), který dokázal zajet nejrychleji i přesto, že poslední úsek trati zdolával se ztracenou baterií od elektronického řazení. Na stupních vítězů ho doplnili Jakub Bittner a Jan Hrstka. V ženské kategorii vystoupila na nejvyšší stupínek Hana Doležalová (AC Sparta Praha). Oceněni však byli i starší závodníci podle příslušnosti do své věkové kategorie. V neposlední řadě bylo součástí závěrečného ceremoniálu i předání dresů pro mistry Jihočeské amatérské ligy, kam závod také spadal. Celkem časovku absolvovalo 90 závodníků.
V neděli bylo závodníků ještě více. Přes 160 cyklistů a cyklistek se postavilo na startovní čáru některého z nedělních silničních závodů na Temelíně. Vše začalo ráno od těch nejmenších. Ti, přiměřeně svému věku, absolvovali nenáročnou trať v délce od několika set metrů až po několik málo kilometrů v prostoru parkoviště Temelínské elektrárny. Příjemným zpestřením nejen pro závodící děti byla jistě přítomnost hasičského auta, jehož posádka zájemců ochotně prezentovala svou výstroj.
