V rámci letošního TECHNISERV Cup ČP Mládeže se jednalo vůbec o první double, tj. kdy se jednomu závodníkovi podařilo zvítězit v sobotním kritériu i nedělním silničním závodě jednotlivců, v této vyrovnané a výborně obsazené kategorii kadetů. (V hodnocení ČP mládeže je více jak 100 kadetů) Spokojeni byli i trenéři Favoritu „Před 14 dny Jelínek, Telecký a Široký vynechali ČP v Ostravě a jeli sbírat zkušenosti v barvách reprezentace ČR na jeden z největších etapových závodů kadetů, Jugendtour v Rakousku. Získané zkušenosti i způsob závodění v zahraničí tyto závodníky SCM2020 Favoritu posunul výše jak po taktické tak i výkonnostní stránce a absenci z posledního ČP v Ostravě si bohatě vynahradili. Z Favoritu startovali ještě Sekanina, Voneš, Rotter a Procházka. „Pro nás šlo vyloženě o přípravný závod a zhruba splnil to, co jsem očekával. Kalendář je teď trochu volnější, protože odpadlo Okolo jižních Čech, tak jsme vybírali nějakou náhradu. Už tento týden nás však čekají důležité domácí závody na dráze – ve čtvrtek GP Favoritu Brno a v pátek tradiční Přilba Moravy.
