Kmínek druhý na ČP v kategorii U23
Vojtěch Kmínek z Favoritu Brno obsadil celkové šesté místo v závodě Českého poháru v Hrabyni, v kategorii U23 mu patřila skvělá druhá příčka. Závod na 160 kilometrů vyhrál Michael Boroš z týmu Elkov Kasper. „Vojta předvedl kvalitní výkon. Nechyběl v úniku šestičlenné skupiny, která odjela ve druhém kole. Kluci výborně spolupracovali a vydrželo jim to až do cíle. O vítězství se rozhodovalo v závěrečném stoupání dlouhém asi kilometr a půl,“ popsal šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal. „Bylo z toho pódiové umístění v kategorii U23, a to považuji za úspěch. S výkonem celého týmu jsem byl spokojen,“ dodal. V Hrabyni se dařilo i mladým nadějím Favoritu. Daniel Vysočan byl třetí mezi juniory, Tomáš Novák čtvrtý. V kadetech obsadil Kristián Vavro 6. příčku a Šimon Matějek 14. Mezi žáky skončil Matteo La Carbonara druhý. Dařilo se i na dráze. Adam Křenek startoval na GP Framar v Praze. V páteční bodovačce i scratchi obsadil shodně páté místo, v sobotním omniu byl klasifikován na 8. místě. „Počínal si velmi aktivně a zaslouží pochvalu. Z celkového pohledu to byl pro Favorit velmi úspěšný víkend,“ dodal František Trkal.
