Voltr šestnáctý na mistrovství republiky v elitní kategorii a Telecký čtvrtý mezi juniory
Martin Voltr z Favoritu Brno obsadil šestnácté místo v silničním závodě mužské elity na mistrovství republiky v Mladé Vožici. V těžkém kopcovitém závodě, jehož se zúčastnili nejlepší čeští cyklisté, bylo klasifikováno jen 33 ze 139 startujících. „Martin byl jedním z lídrů našeho týmu. Věřil jsem, že mu náročný závod s téměř 4000 nastoupanými metry bude sedět. Nakonec se to potvrdilo, v pořadí před ním skončili pouze jezdci nejlepší domácí stáje Elkov Kasper nebo kluci působící v zahraničních týmech. Někdy na můj vkus hýřil zbytečnou aktivitou, místo aby trochu šetřil síly, ale jeho celkový projev a výkon byl z mého pohledu na jedničku,“ hodnotil šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal. Z jeho dalších svěřenců startovali v závodě ještě Vojtěch Kmínek, Adam Křenek, Štěpán Široký a Dominik Prudek. V sobotním silničním závodě juniorů skončil Štěpán Telecký čtvrtý. „Je to další z jeho dobrých výsledků. Štěpán předvedl velmi slušný výkon. Umístění na pódiu mu těsně uniklo, když se o druhé až čtvrté místo spurtovalo,“ popsal František Trkal.
