Kmínek a Telecký vystoupili po Trofeo Cinelli na pódium
Skvělým výsledkem se prezentovali Vojtěch Kmínek a Štěpán Telecký z Favoritu Brno na 10. ročníku silničního závodu Trofeo Cinelli – VC Hlohovce 2022, když v kategorii U23 skončil Vojta na třetím místě a juniorskou kategorii vyhrál Štěpán. Na čtvrtém místě v U23 skončil Martin Voltr a Štěpán Široký obsadil místo šesté. Vítězství v kategorii U23 vybojoval Filip Řeha z týmu Elkov Kasper. „Pro nás šlo o první start v sezóně, takže jsem nevěděl co od toho můžu očekávat. Tým se s tím nakonec popasoval velmi dobře, výsledky závodníků i týmové pojetí mi udělaly radost, hodnotil šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal.
V neděli se závodníci Favoritu Brno postavili na start domácího závodu V. Bíteš-Brno-V. Bíteš a za mě to byl solidní výkon.
Kmínek čtrnáctý na Bíteši. Vojtěch Kmínek byl nejlepším z cyklistů Favoritu Brno v zahajovacím závodě Českého poháru v silniční cyklistice Škoda Cupu, kterým byla klasika Velká Bíteš-Brno-Velká Bíteš. Obsadil celkové čtrnácté místo a hned za ním přijel Adam Křenek. „Za mě to byl solidní výkon, a i to umístění ve slušné konkurenci beru,“ hodnotil závod dlouhý 162 km šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal. „Líbilo se mi týmové pojetí. Kluci se snažili a v našem domácím závodě se určitě neztratili,“ dodal šéftrenér.
