Vydařené soustředění ve Španělsku
Silniční tým mužů Favoritu Brno má za sebou vydařený tréninkový kemp v Esteponě na jihu Španělska. Svěřenci šéftrenéra Františka Trkala se tam na sezónu připravovali přes tři týdny. „Z celkového pohledu to bylo hodně kvalitní soustředění, i když se nám nevyhnuly komplikace v podobě pozitivního testu na Covid u Čekala. Musel být v izolaci, a protože neměl úplně lehký průběh, vypadl z tréninku na deset dní,“ prozradil František Trkal. „Tým jsme na některé fáze tréninku rozdělili, protože kluci jako Křenek, Široký, Čepek, Čekal, Kopelent a Červíček, kteří se více věnují i dráze, měli sezónu delší, a naopak Voltr s Kmínkem už v prosinci absolvovali tréninkový kemp na silnici a byli výkonnostně trochu dál. Ale dvě třetiny jsme toho odtrénovali všichni společně,“ informoval šéftrenér. Závodníci Favoritu se připravovali v ideálních klimatických podmínkách. „Počasí nám vyšlo super a odtrénovali jsme vše, co jsme chtěli. Teď po návratu domů musí kluci dobře zregenerovat a znovu se vrhneme do práce. Doufám, že všichni zůstanou zdrávi, protože 28. února odjíždíme na závěrečné soustředění do Chorvatska. Tam už bude probíhat finální příprava k prvním závodům,“ dodal František Trkal.
Letos budou muži Favoritu závodit opět na kolech Stevens Izoard Pro Disc, v přilbách Catlike Vento a s řetězy KMC od CYKLOŠVEC.
