Tour de Brdy – Galaxy Stevens série 2020
Tour de Brdy se jel jako závod Galaxy Stevens série 2020 na 67 km i Škoda cup – Český pohár pro závodníky elite na 115 km.
Tour de Brdy Škoda cup – Český pohár závod elite na 115 km vyhrál Maciej Paterski z polského týmu Wibatech před Matějem Zahálkou team Elkov Kasper a Patrykem Stoszem opět z polského týmu Voster ATS. Závod elite dojelo 16 závodníků v limitu 15 minut na vítěze. Náročná trať po lesních cestách a gravel úsecích s převýšením 2000 m prověřila důkladně každého závodníka.
170 cyklistů se vydalo na 67 km dlouhou trasu amatérského Tour de Brdy. Závod s gravel úseky a převýšením přes 1000m nabídl zajímavé porovnání cyklistů různých kategorií. Závod vyhrál Michal Kollert, který je třiatřicetiletý špičkový fitness trenér a “bývalý” profesionální cyklista, když si ve spurtu poradil s juniorem Martinem Volfem z Roman Kreuziger Cycling Academy a Danielem Hovorkou z Mondraker Teamu. Z pelotonu amatérů se po 20 km ve stoupání na vrchol Toku oddělila skupina 15 závodníků, aby v dalším stoupání zaútočila vítězná trojice, která svůj únik dotáhla do vítězného cíle. Motivovaní amatéři již na třicátém km začali dojíždět odpadlíky z kategorie Elita, kteří startovali o 10 minut dříve. Závod byl zařazený v Galaxy Stevens sérii, Road Cupu i amatérkých ligách JAL a UAC.
Mezi ženami zvítězila Jana Milec Jiřincová před Hanou Doležalovou /AC Sparta Praha/ a Veronikou Novákovou /Prodoli Racing Team/.
