Co očekáváš od své první sezóny v týmu mužů Favoritu?
Spoustu získaných zkušeností, které mi pomůžou posunout se zase a něco dál. Už se nemůžu dočkat, je to úplně nová motivace.
Úspěšně jsi kombinoval dráhu a silnici. Hodláš v tom pokračovat i nadále?
Určitě ano, dráze se chci věnovat i v budoucnu a kombinovat ji se silnicí. V mužích to bude zase něco jiného, ale já mám výzvy rád.
Na dráze jsi dosahoval ještě lepších výsledků, bude tvou prioritou?
To se asi nedá úplně jednoznačně říct. Uvidíme, jaký bude závodní program, ale rád bych na dráze odjel co nejvíce závodů a pokusil se i o dobrý výsledek. Dráha pro mě každopádně zůstává disciplínou, které se vzdát nechci.
Jaké cíle a plány máš do nové sezóny?
Jak už jsem říkal, první sezóna v mužích bude hlavně o zkušenostech. Budu se snažit co nejvíc pomoci týmu, pro kluky jsem připraven odvést maximum. No a kdyby se povedl dobrý výsledek na dráhovém mistráku a jiných dráhových závodech, budu spokojený.
Jsi odchovancem Favoritu. Je výhodou, když jsi prošel všemi mládežnickými týmy a dostal ses až do mužů?
Dá se to považovat za výhodu, se všemi se tu dobře znám, od závodníků až po vedení a realizační tým. Máme tu dobré vztahy a jsem tu doma.
Jaké jsou tvé cyklistické sny do blízké i daleké budoucnosti?
Bylo by hezké se cyklistickou jednou živit, nebo se dostat do zahraničního týmu, ale zůstávám nohama na zemi. Dělám to, co mě baví, a to je pro mě nejdůležitější.
