Michal Rotter vicemistrem republiky v časovce!
Hned v první den společného mistrovství republiky SR a ČR v silniční cyklistice v Trnavě získal Favorit Brno medaili! Michal Rotter se stal po famózním výkonu vicemistrem republiky v časovce kategorie U23!
Na trati dlouhé 41 km zaostal za vítězným Jakubem Otrubou z Elkov Author o pouhých 8 vteřin. „Je to naprostá bomba. Michal zvládl celou trasu za úmorného vedra fantasticky. Neviděl jsem tam jedinou slabou chvilku. Medaili získal naprosto zaslouženě. Otruba obhajoval titul, je to top časovkář, a Michal na něj ztratil jen pár sekund,“ chválil svého svěřence šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal.
„Medaile byla tajným snem. Nechtěl jsem to vykřikovat dopředu, ale věděl jsem, že je na tom Michal hodně dobře. V časovce jsme naposledy získali medaili před pěti lety, kdy byl Michal Schlegel taky druhý. Je to odměna i pro celý oddíl a všechny lidi, kteří na jeho výsledku mají zásluhu. Včetně celého realizačního týmu, který tady je,“ dodal František Trkal, jehož potěšil i Jiří Šorm. Ten obsadil šesté místo. V časovce ještě startoval Milan Šimek, který obsadil patnácté místo.
