Kvalitní trénink a první závody v Chorvatsku

Favorit Brno absolvuje v těchto dnech finální tréninkový kemp v chorvatské Poreči. Svěřenci trenéra Františka Trkala už za sebou mají i první dva závody a v závěru týdne je v Chorvatsku čeká třetí start. „Všechno zatím probíhá podle plánu. Počasí nám přeje, teploty se pohybují od 15 do 17 stupňů. Kluci už za sebou mají úvodní soustředění ve Španělsku, takže tento kemp už slouží hlavně k tomu, abychom chytli správný závodní rytmus,“ přiblížil šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal. Silniční tým mužů Favoritu je v Chorvatsku v plné sestavě: Petr Hampl, Adam Sekanina, Jan Voneš, Michal Procházka, David Kulhánek, Michal Rotter a Vojtěch Kmínek. Závodní premiéru si odbyli ve středu na Trofeo Umag, kde byl v nabité konkurenci 30 týmů Sekanina 29. a Kulhánek 34. V sobotu na Trofeo Poreč skončil z Favoritu nejlépe 33. Hampl. „Máme v sestavě 4 prvoročáky a pro ně jsou takové závody obrovským skokem. Ale s výkony kluků jsem spokojen. Dojížděli jsme v hlavním poli a je vidět, že natrénováno máme,“ přiblížil František Trkal. Kemp v Chorvatsku vyvrcholí čtyřetapovým závodem Istrian Spring Trophy od čtvrtka do neděle. „Jde o závod pro šestičlenné týmy. Od nás nepojede Honza Voneš, který jel ještě dráhovou sezónu a potřebuje trochu jiný režim. Bude to pro nás generálka na domácí vstup do sezóny, kterým bude poslední březnový víkend VC Hlohovce a Bíteš,“ dodal šéftrenér.
