TOMÁŠ PAPRSTKA 2. NA MČR V CYKLOKROSU
Jak se píše již v úvodních řádcích, šlo bez nadsázky o lítý boj v opravdových bahenních lázních. Zatímco si závodníci v pátek najížděli umrzlou, takže téměř suchou trať v malebné zasněžené krajině, předpověď počasí jim již chystala docela jiné podmínky. Již tentýž večer mírná obleva udělala s tratí své. Sníh povolil, voda se vsákla do povrchu a z louky se stala krásná bahenní lázeň. A rozhodně se nejednalo o žádné řídké blátíčko, ale pořádně mazlavou hmotu, která se ráda usazuje na všech pohyblivých součástkách kola. Hned od startovního výstřelu závodu kategorie mužů elite se spustilo to správné drama. Pády v zatáčce nad depem, následné odstrkávání se od kolíků, čímž si závodníci snažili dopomoci k jízdě na kole, aby všechny těžké pasáže nemuseli stále jen běhat. Náš Tomáš Paprstka se rozhodl vše dělat trochu dramatické, protože se v prvních okruzích pohyboval ,,až na 5.místě,,. Každým kolem však stahoval ztrátu na své soupeře a v rozhodující okamžik předvedl své technické nadání a vlohy pro jízdu v těchto nepříznivých podmínkách a dokázal se téměř ve stejný moment dostat hned přes tři své soupeře. V ten moment mu patřilo vynikající 2.místo, které dokazál udržet až do cíle. Doplnil tak stejným výsledkem svého týmového kolegu Matěje Ulíka, který ještě před Vánoci dokázal na Slovenském národním šampionátu ukořistit také 2.místo. Kromě Tomáše bojovalo na trati dalších pět závodníků ve žlutém. Nejlépe Tomášovi sekundoval na 12.místě Alvin Tomášek. Vzhledem k tomu, že Alvin je prvním rokem v kategorii do 23let, tak zde obsadil 5.místo. Jen o jedno místo hůře v rámci obou kategorii dokončil 13. v elitě a 6. v U23 Josef Kunášek. Za svými kolegy dojel ještě 21. Filip Pospíšil. Celou naší závodnickou skupinu doplňovalo ještě juniorské duo Jakub Kučera a Daniel Žvak, kteří na pozvání reprezentačního trenéra také bojovali o nominaci na Mistrovství světa. V tomto vloženém závodě, kdy oba mladí závodníci dokázali držet krok s kvalitními eliťáky si lépe vedl 4. Jakub Kučera. Druhý v boji o nominaci na MS byl na 5.místě Daniel Žvak. Jak jejich nominace dopadne se dozvíme již brzy.
