KC Slavia v říjnu
Právě skončený závod ČT Author Cup byl pro nás posledním závodem sezóny. Z výsledkového hlediska se sice naši závodníci neprosadili ani do první stovky, nejlepším umístěním bylo 117-té místo Ondřeje Berana, ale tentokrát nám až tak o výsledky nešlo. Sice se každý snažil dojet co nejlépe, ale šlo hlavně o to, rozloučit se aktivním způsobem se sezónou, která byla jak pro někoho úspěšná pro někoho ne. Z důvodů dopravních nehod, kde léčení, ale ani odškodnění materiálních škod ještě není zcela uzavřeno, nás letos závodilo méně než v předchozích letech. Například umístění Jana Kučery na 364. místě absolutního pořadí a 68. v kategorii, je obrovskou výhrou. Před 11 měsíci ho srazil řidič dodávky v protisměru v Říčanech a nejlepší závodník Slavie z roku 2023, se teprve po roce opět postavil na start. Další zranění z nehody měl Karel Šíma, což znamenalo předčasné ukončení skvěle rozjeté sezóny a místo účasti na mistrovství světa, přišla léčba zranění. I přes zranění se propadl pouze na 2. místo v celkovém pořadí Prima MTB Cupu. Přes tyto nehody se v letošním roce hodně povedlo, mimo již zmíněného 2.místa Karla Šímy v Prima MTB Cupu, se povedlo našemu předsedovi vybojovat celkově 3.místo v Extralize Masters a 4. místo v Giant lize masters. Takže 3 celoroční soutěže skončily dvěma umístěními na stupních vítězů. Za to děkujeme našim partnerům, bez kterých bychom těchto výsledků nemohli dosáhnout, ať již jde o finanční dary, zajištění -materiální, zdravotní, výživové i tréninkové. Doufáme, že s námi zůstanete i v následující sezóně. Nyní závodníkům nastává přechodné období, takže je čas odpočívat, ale aktivně. Právě probíhá v Praze na Spořilově, Festival cyklistiky, kde se můžete setkat nejen s osobnostmi české cyklistiky, ale můžete si také prohlédnout nové kolekce, a to hned několika cyklistických firem. V listopadu nám bude 132 let, takže 2.11. se zase přesuneme v čase do rolu 1892, kdy náš klub vzniknul a pojedeme se podívat na 5 míst spojených s naší historií – Tour de Slavia 2024. 14.11, večer na Slavii, odstartuje zimní příprava a zahájení 133 sezóny klubu. Těšíme se proto na vás u dalších přehledů naší činnosti a držte nám palce.
