Šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal o sezóně mládeže: Chyběl jen úspěch na velké mezinárodní akci
Jako hodně slušnou hodnotí šéftrenér Favoritu Brno František Trkal sezónu 2021 napříč mládežnickými kategoriemi. Mladí závodníci od žáků až po juniory získali řadu titulů, ať už na silnice nebo dráze, vyhráli důležité závody i celoroční soutěže. „K větší spokojenosti chyběl především úspěch v juniorské kategorii na mistrovství světa nebo Evropy,“ říká František Trkal.
„A na dráze se ani nikdo od nás na světový či evropský šampionát nedostal, to je velké minus. Na silnici jsme čekali asi nejvíc od Štěpána Teleckého, který měl celoročně velmi dobrou výkonnost, ale Evropa i svět byly až v září a už se na něm projevila únava. Neměl moc z čeho brát,“ řekl šéftrenér.
„Příští rok bych se u něj rád zaměřil na daleko lepší načasování formy na vrcholy sezóny. Je to v první řadě výborný časovkář a rád bych ho na těch akcích viděl v top 10. Potenciál na to jednoznačně má,“ doplnil František Trkal.
Když za celou sezónu hodnotí juniorskou kategorii, vyzdvihuje v první řadě hlavně Teleckého. „Je dvojnásobným mistrem republiky (časovka jednotlivců, ŠKODA e-MČR 2021) a vicemistrem v časovce družstev, kde s ním jeli ještě Široký, Kulha a Jelínek. Štěpán navíc skončil čtvrtý na Mezinárodních dnech cyklistiky v Dubnici, kde ještě vyhrál sprinterskou soutěž, a v kvalitní konkurenci byl pátý na závodě Regionem Orlicka,“ vypočítával František Trkal.
Junioři Favoritu kromě toho vyhráli celkově Český pohár družstev na silnici, Štěpán Široký pak ovládl celkově Kritérijní ligu. „Rád bych ještě z dílčích úspěchů vyzdvihl Český pohár v Kyjově, kde jsme měli první tři závodníky v pořadí,“ dodal šéftrenér.
Velmi dobrých výsledků dosahovali junioři Favoritu i na dráze. Čepek vyhrál Český pohár v omniu, Široký byl druhý. Na mistrovství republiky ve scratchi bral Široký stříbro a Čepek bronz, v madisonu byli druzí. „A titul vicemistrů republiky jsme brali i ve stíhačce družstev,“ prozradil Trkal.
Mezi kadety se stal Matyáš Muroň vicemistrem republiky v časovce, blýskl se i šestým místem v časovce na Závodu míru nejmladších v Jevíčku. „Od července ale marodil se zády a nezávodil. Stále se dává do kupy, ale věřím, že už brzy začne trénovat,“ řekl šéftrenér Favoritu.
Kristián Vavro, který byl do půlky sezóny Slovák a pak získal české občanství, skončil pátý na mistrovství Slovenska v časovce a desátý v silničním závodě.
V nejmladší žákovské kategorii se stal čtyřnásobným mistrem republiky na dráze Filip Richter (sprint, scratch, bodovací závod a společně s Mokrým vyhráli madison), ve stíhačce bylo družstvo druhé. Dráhu a silnici úspěšně kombinuje Šimon Matějek, který si připsal cenné deváté místo na Závodu míru v Lanškrouně. „Z žákyň bych rád vyzdvihl Elen Lazarovou, která je trojnásobnou mistryní republiky na dráze, spolu s Alicí Mikuláškovou získaly i titul v týmovém sprintu,“ chválil František Trkal nejmladší naděje Favoritu.
Závodníci Favoritu Brno závodí na silnici na kolech Stevens, v přilbách Catlike a s řetězy KMC a s díly a doplňky Nexelo od CYKLOŠVEC
