Adam Sekanina byl na mezinárodním závodě UCI kategorie 2.2. Okolo jižních Čech nejlepším v pořadí z cyklistů Favoritu Brno, když obsadil konečné 24. místo. Petr Hampl skončil 30. Favorit startoval v sestavě Sekanina, Hampl, Zechmeister, Procházka, Cihlář. „Na závodě se sešla výborná konkurence a myslím, že to umístění Adama z celkového pohledu špatné není. Zhruba to odpovídá jeho aktuální formě. Samozřejmě bychom byli rádi i za lepší výsledek, ale někdy to chce i více štěstí a lepší nohy. Toto je zhruba reálný obraz našich aktuálních možností v závodech s takovou konkurencí,“ uvedl šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal. Závod vyhrál Michael Kukrle z týmu Elkov Author. „Přivezli tam nejsilnější sestavu a jen potvrdili, jak jsou dobří. Nedominují jen na Českém poháru, ale dokážou vyhrávat i mezinárodní závody,“ dodal František Trkal. Nejlepším dílčím výsledkem Favoritu bylo 16. místo Adama Sekaniny v závěrečné etapě.
