Začátek nového roku na zahraničních závodech
Čtveřice našich nejlepších cyklokrosařů Patrik Černý, Robert Hula, František Hojka a Daniel Rubeš se pečlivě připravuje na nadcházející vrchol sezóny v podobě Mistrovství České republiky, které proběhne již příští neděli v Mladé Boleslavi. V rámci domácího šampionátu navíc budou bojovat o místa v reprezentačním výběru pro Mistrovství světa. Aby se po objemovém soustředění na Mallorce opět dostali do závodního tempa, nelenili a místo silvestrovských oslav zamířili na mezinárodní závody do Lucemburska a Švýcarska.
Nejlepší výkony o víkendu podal úřadující mistr České republiky junior František Hojka. V obou dnech se dokázal prosadit mezi špičku závodního pole a tak na Nový rok dokázal vybojovat v lucemburském Petange 3. místo. Po přejezdu do Švýcarska, konkrétně do města Meilen ukázal, že tratě s větším převýšením mu sedí ještě více a dokázal tak svůj předchozí výkon ještě o stupínek vylepšit. Do cíle dojel jako 2. junior.
