Mistrovství Evropy v silniční cyklistice v Mnichově
Od 15. 8. do 21. 8. 2022 proběhlo v Mnichově Mistrovství Evropy v silniční cyklistice. Tuto akci můžeme nazvat i „malou olympiádou“, protože to byla obrovská sportovní akce, která byla oslavou padesátého výročí Olympijských her z roku 1972. V této bavorské metropoli se závodilo v devíti sportech a čeští sportovci byli u toho.
Nejen při silniční cyklistice jsme mohli potkat pár tváří z Olomouckého regionu.
Právě u silniční cyklistiky jsme měli v reprezentačním dresu odchovance Olomoucké cyklistiky Jakuba Otrubu, který se zúčastnil silničního závodu (34. místo) i časovky jednotlivců (22. místo). Zázemí mu vytvářel v čele s reprezentačním trenérem Františkem Trkalem i další člen týmu Michal Frantík.
Právě jeho jsme se zeptali na skončené ME Mnichov 2022:
1) Byl jsi na té multisportovní akci, kde se zúčastnilo 9 sportů. Jaká to byla vlastně akce?
Opravdu velkolepá. Už jen když jsme po dálnici přijížděli k Mnichovu, tak na ukazatelích nás vítali a dávali směr elektronické ukazatele, kudy se dostaneme k cyklistice.
Když jsme dojeli do dění akce, byl jsem absolutně nadšený. Na hotelu jsme spali i s cyklisty dráhaři, každý den jsme potkávali nejen špičkové dráhaře a silničáře z Evropy, ale i zároveň ty světové. „Duhovými dresy“ se to na hotelu přímo hemžilo. Potkal jsem a prohodil pár slov i s trenérem Petera Sagana Jánem Valachem. A my, Český „nároďák“, jsme měli v týmu Zdeňka Štybara – několikanásobného mistra světa v cyklokrosu, vítěze etapy na Tour de France a také „Štyby“ dosáhl úžasných výsledků v profi pelotonu.
Na něm bylo vidět, jak je velký profík a jak nejen na kole mu tato role svědčí.
Byl jsem však i na jiných sportech… na dráhové cyklistice, na atletice na olympijském stadionu i na plážovém volejbalu, kde bylo i sportoviště pro lezce.
Navíc cílový prostor byl nejen cílem pro cyklisty, ale například pro maratonce. Vše bylo dokonale připravené, super zázemí i plno fanoušků. Prostě výborná atmosféra.
2) Jak tedy srovnáváš OH a ME v Mnichově?
Jsou to rozdílné akce. Co je spojuje je perfekcionalistický přístup jak Japonců, tak i Němců. Prostě vše zorganizované do absolutních detailů.
Olympiáda v Tokiu však měla nevýhodu doby covidu a tím velice přísných opatření, takže tam jsem si to i díky karanténě, v které jsem byl kvůli blízkému kontaktu s nemocným sportovcem, moc neužil. Ani vlastně ostatní sporty. Takže OH jsou velkolepou akcí a vrcholem nejen pro sportovce, ale i pro realizační tým, ale v Japonsku to bylo spíš i trošku smutné.
Mnichov, to byla jiná liga. Opravdové setkání sportovců a fanoušků. Například na dráze bylo stále vyprodáno. Kuriozitou dráhy bylo i to, že byla přímo postavena pro tuto akci na místě, kde se konají veletrhy, byla postavena ze dřeva a byla kratší než je běžné například na MS nebo OH. Tradičně všechny dráhy na mistrovství světa musí mít a mají 250 metrů a tady na ME měla jen 200 metrů, což není na této úrovni obvyklé (i když pro ME to může být) a mohlo to dle některých názorů znamenat riziko a více pádů, což se malinko potvrdilo. Naštěstí my Češi jsme na to zvyklí, protože máme jedinou krytou dráhu, a to v Praze, která je ještě klopenější a kratší, tudíž mezinárodní parametry nesplňuje. Myslím si, že je to malinko ostuda, že nám chybí krytá dráha Evropských nebo světových parametrů, i když české závodníky toto naklopení a vzdálenost nepřekvapuje a teď v Mnichově dráha nabízela spoustu dramatických a napínavých okamžiků hlavně třeba u disciplíny dráhové cyklistiky medisonu, kdy se jednotliví cyklisté střídají, a to byl opravdu „fičák“, že jsem i já chvílemi zavíral oči. Každopádně příležitost podívat se na dráhu, byl opravdu super zážitek plný adrenalinu.
I olympijský stadion byl velkolepý a plážový volejbal byl prostě bomba.
I my silniční cyklisté jsme měli vše výborně připravené se skvělou diváckou kulisou. Musím říci, že v tomto ohledu tato evropská akce byla z mého pohledu ještě větším zážitkem.
Takže OH jsou vrcholem, ale ME v Mnichově divácky řadím výše.
Když však srovnám s OH v Riu, kde jsem byl jako divák, tak tam to bylo také velkolepé a byl to zážitek, i když tam řádila naopak nemoc Zika, které se sportovci obávali. Ale Brazílie je Brazílie.
Takže jsi s ME spokojený?
Rozhodně ano. Na ME v Mnichově se opravdu povedlo vše dokonale zorganizovat. Sportoviště, diváci, sportovci, prostě vše. Co bych chtěl vyzdvihnout na tomto závodě je to, že tím, že cíl byl v samotném centru Mnichova nám ukázalo to, že to jde spojit sportem fanoušky a přitom ukázat i nádherné budovy a centrum této metropole. Cílové technické okruhy byly propleteny právě zde a všude byly špalíry fanoušků, kteří mohutně fandili každému sportovci. Potkal jsem i pár Čechů, kteří když viděli český reprezentační dres, tak se k nám hlásili a přáli nám hodně štěstí.
Navíc v našem silničářském týmu se sešla super parta a vládla tam pohodová atmosféra a zažili jsme spoustu srandy a přitom každý věděl proč tam je.
Dokonce jsem dostal humornou přezdívku „Baloun“ ze Švejka. Stříhali jsme i videa a byla opět ve volném čase švanda.
Kluci navíc opravdu byli soustředění a k závodu přistoupili absolutně profesionálně. Škoda, že to nedalo třeba TOP desítku, ale to je prostě sport.
Víc takových akcí a takového složení týmu, i když před nedávnem jsme pod vedením šéf trenéra Tomáše Konečného dovezli z ME v Portugalsku v kategorii muži U23 stříbrnou medaili, kterou získal Mathias Vacek, takže každá sportovní akce má své.
U sportu je strašně důležité, aby nejen sportovci reprezentovali Českou republiku a jejich úspěchy byly vzorem pro nás všechny, ale hlavně aby motivoval i mladé lidi, děti ke sportování a zdravému životnímu stylu, což se děje, jak jsem např. mohl osobně vidět při soutěžích Olympiády dětí a mládeže v Olomouckém kraji a která byla pro mě také nezapomenutelným zážitkem.
Závěrem bych chtěl pozdravit kolegu mechanika Richarda Šmídu z Prostějova, který byl sem mnou na OH v Tokiu i na Portugalském ME mládeže. Sám zachránil život sportovci cyklistovi na závodě v Kyjově, ale nyní se zotavuje z nehody, která se mu stala v Prostějově. Srazilo ho na kruhovém objezdu auto a dotyčný ujel a jen díky pomoci náhodně projíždějícího se dostal do nemocnici a vše zvládl a nyní se zotavuje po operaci. Přeji mu brzké uzdravení a také, aby stál „brzo na značkách“ v reprezentaci nebo někde jinde.
