Poslední dubnový víkend byl ve znamení úvodního podniku ČP MTB XCO 2025, který hostilo Město Touškov.
Po pátečním dešti se za chladného, ale slunečného počasí uskuteční první závod letošního seriálu závodů Českého poháru MTB XCO. Ve Městě Touškov se sešla velmi silná konkurence nejen domácí bikové špičky, ale i velkého počtu závodníků ze zahraničí.
Naši závodníci se na úvod sezóny předvedli ve velmi dobrém světle. V kategorii juniorů dlouho bojoval o medailové pozice Richard Severyn, který nakonec jako čtvrtý z českých závodníků obsadil sedmé místo. Parádně vyšel závod našim třiadvacítkářům, kteří opanovali svoji kategorii v pořadí 1. Patrik Černý, 2. František Hojka a 6. Václav Naxera (třetí nejlepší český závodník) a svými výkony se neztratili ani v absolutním pořadí elity mužů, kdy jim ve výsledkové listině patří páté, osmé a čtrnácté místo a doplnil je devátým místem ještě Matej Ulík.
V nedělních závodech dětí se nejlépe vedlo chlapcům v kategorii 7-8 let, ve které zvítězil David Kovář a deváté místo obsadil Jan Soukup.
Hodnocení managera Jana Slavíčka: „S výkony našich závodníků jsem velmi spokojen. Perfektní závod odjel Ríša Severyn a svým výkonem si zaslouženě vybojoval nominaci do juniorského reprezentačního áčka pro nadcházející závody juniorské světové serie, které vyvrcholí závodem Novém Městě na Moravě. V NMNM se představí také všichni tři naši závodníci do 23 let a v závodě elity Matej Ulík. Ve hře je i varianta, že v závodě juniorů doplní Ríšu Severyna ještě Vít Lisý a Mikuláš Klvaň, ale tam konečné rozhodnutí teprve padne. Jak třiadvacítkáři, tak i Ríša se zúčastní příští týden reprezenatačního soustředění v MNMN a budou tak moci o víkendu 24. – 25. května na 100% využít v závodech světové série výhody domácího prostředí.“
