Pozvánka na Velkou cenu města Kolína v cyklokrosu
Jen chvíli po zakončení mtb sezóny odcestovali kolínští závodníci Expres CZ – BMD Team Kolín na tradiční cyklokrosové soustředění do Orlických hor, kde se během krátké chvíle přeorientovali na nové stroje Stevens bikes. Soustředění jsme zakončili na přípravném závodě v Mladé Boleslavi a poté už vše směřovalo k prvnímu závodu národního poháru, který v letošním roce nese název HSF Systém Cup. Ten první se odehrával v rámci víkendového dvojzávodu v Ostravě. V obou dnech se zde nejlépe prosadil zkušený úřadující slovenský šampion Matej Ulík, když v obou závodech ve velice silné zahraniční konkurenci obsadil 6. místo. Velmi dobře si vedla i prvním rokem juniorka Eva Drhová, která však musí soupeřit v rámci spojené kategorie s elitními ženami, mezi kterými se rozhodně neztratila a jako juniorka dojela 3.
Další zastávkou bylo velice tradiční Hlinsko. Zde se opět nejvíce dařilo Matejovi Ulíkovi na 8. místě. Matej zároveň rovnou z Hlinska zamířil zpět na Slovensko, konkrétně do města Levoča kde se konal Slovenský národní pohár s klasifikací mezinárodního závodu C2. Zde se podařilo proti zahraničním závodníkům Matejovi prosadit až na pódium, když bral 2. místo. Na tento úspěch se Matej pokusí navázat opět v neděli na dalším Slovenském poháru v rámci Grand Prix Trnava C2.
Budeme velice rádi, pokud se našimi přáteli budeme moci setkat při fandění špičkovému domácímu cyklokrosu. Již příští sobotu 26. října nás čeká 20. Velká cena města Kolína, kde se budeme chtít před domácími diváky v mezinárodní konkurenci předvést v tom nejlepším světle. Ale protože chceme 20. ročník závodu náležitě oslavit, můžete se těšit také na setkání mistrů, kdy dojde k slavnostnímu předání ocenění všem závodníkům, kterým se podařilo v průběhu 20 ročníků v Kolíně zvítězit.
