Do Náměšti nad Oslavou se chystá takřka 500 cyklistů
Po loňské vydařené premiéře bude Náměšť nad Oslavou již tuto sobotu 13. dubna znovu hostit závody Českého poháru v silniční cyklistice mládeže a žen. K prvnímu kolu seriálu závodů Brilon Cup je přihlášeno více než 400 závodníků a závodnic. Spolu s kategorií hobby a vložených závodů pro nejmenší se tak celkový počet účastníků vyšplhá na 500 startujících.
Organizaci akce má pod palcem osvědčený tým pořadatelů z TJ Favorit Brno, který stojí také například za elitním podnikem Velká Bíteš – Brno – Velká Bíteš, jenž se uskutečnil minulou sobotu.
Trasa 10 kilometrů dlouhého okruhu se osvědčila, a proto zůstala beze změny. Starty všech kategorií proběhnou na Masarykově náměstí před Městským úřadem. Po kostkovém stoupání kolem Domova pro seniory a po ulici Husové se cyklisté dostanou k rybníku Rathan. Směrem na Ocmanice na ně čeká takřka 2 kilometry dlouhý úsek s úplně novým povrchem. V Ocmanicích se vydají na Naloučany a podél řeky Oslavy se dostanou zpátky do Náměště, kde se přes historický kamenný most, který je ozdobou celého závodu, dostanou opět na Masarykovo náměstí. Oproti loňskému roku je zde situován i cíl. Ačkoliv tato trasa není nijak profilově náročná, trenéři si ji v loňském roce pochvalovali. Otevřené roviny spolu s častými zatáčkami nutily mladé adepty cyklistiky k přirozenému závodění.
Den zahájí v 9:00 amatérskou hobby kategorií na 60 km, v níž budou závodníci bodovat do celoročního prestižního seriálu silničních amatérských závodů RoadCup. Od 11. hodiny pak začne maraton mládežnických závodů, jenž vyvrcholí od 15:15 závodem juniorů na trase dlouhé 100 km. Předpokládaný cíl této kategorie je přibližně v 18:10.
Organizování závodu se nevyhne nutným dopravním omezením. K zabezpečení závodu Josef Vaishar z organizačního týmu Favoritu Brno dodává: „Oficiální objízdné trasy budou vyznačeny a provoz na křižovatkách bude regulován pořadatelskou službou. Peloton závodníků bude zajištěn pořadatelskými motospojkami. Prosíme občany o shovívavost a toleranci a žádáme je, aby na dotčených komunikacích dbali zvýšené opatrnosti a řídili se pokyny Policie ČR, pořadatelů a dopravním značením. Současně nám dovolte, pozvat Vás ke zhlédnutí této atraktivní sportovní akce.“
Atmosféru v prostoru startu a cíle bude tvořit místní DJ Igor Tygr Chmelíček z náměšťského klubu Sokolisti, jehož členové se na zabezpečení trasy také podílejí a kteří stojí za pořádáním mnoha cyklistických akcí v Náměšti nad Oslavou a okolí v čele se zdejším podzimním MTB Cyklomaratonem, v letošním roce pořádaným 28. září. Odborný komentář bude mít na starosti Josef Kratina, jehož hlas je známý z cyklistických přenosů České televize a Eurosportu.
