Faltýnek skočil do cyklokrosu a chce na mistrovství světa
Jan Faltýnek z juniorského týmu Dukly Praha na Stevens se v poslední době naplno věnuje cyklokrosu. Rád by co nejvíce proháněl domácí juniorskou špičku a porval se o nominaci na mistrovství světa, které se v únoru uskuteční v Táboře. „Silniční sezonu ukončil Honza o něco dříve než ostatní naši závodníci, někdy v polovině září. Po odpočinku měsíc trénoval a už začíná závodit. Minulý víkend skončil čtvrtý na Toi Toi Cupu v Plzni, teď jel dva závody jihočeské cyklokrosové TBC Serie,“ kde vyhrál juniorskou kategorii, prozradil trenér juniorů Dukly František Trkal. „Přípravu jsme pojali trochu nestandardně. Honza nezačal závodit tak brzy, jako většina čistokrevných cyklokrosařů, ale domluvili jsme se, že do krosu vstoupíme o něco později. Pomalu se vrháme do kolotoče závodů, dobrým měřítkem formy bude příští sobotu Toi Toi Cup v Rýmařově. Věřím, že jeho forma půjde ještě nahoru a byl bych moc rád, kdyby se Honzovi podařilo vybojovat nominaci na mistrovství světa v Táboře. Ale k tomu nás česká ještě dlouhá cesta a je třeba tu výkonnost pravidelně potvrzovat,“ dodal trenér Trkal.
