POZVÁNKA NA Hanacké Gravel do obce Střeň

Do Střeně se chystají dvě cyklistické hvězdy – Jaroslav Kulhavý a Tomáš Paprstka. Již tuto sobotu přivítá obec Střeň znovu špičkovou cyklistiku. Tentokrát se těší především na novou disciplínu – gravel, největšími hvězdami startovního pole budou Jaroslav Kulhavý a Tomáš Paprstka. Program začíná již ráno otevřeným závodem pro nejmenší cyklisty. Závod HANÁCKÉ GRAVEL ve Střeni je součástí závodů GRAVEL BOHEMIA CUP – ČESKÝ POHÁR 2023.
Po loňském premiérovém domácím šampionátu se letos plánuje i první Český pohár pro disciplínu gravel. Seriál bude mít celkem pět závodů, z toho jeden je i mistrovstvím České republiky. Závod ve Střeni o délce 62 km bude první zastávkou nového seriálu. Závodu se zúčastní celá řada známých jmen – na prvním místě olympijský vítěz z Londýna a stříbrný medailista z olympiády v Riu Jaroslav Kulhavý.
„Samozřejmě se velice těším a pokusím se navázat na svou poslední účast ve Střeni, i když je to už docela dlouho. Každopádně akce se mi tehdy dooppravdy líbila a jsem zvědavý, jak bude vypadat letos, čistě ve formátu gravel. Ten teď získal skutečně na popularitě, “ uvedl Kulhavý.
Dalším ze známých jmen ve startovní listině bude juniorský mistr světa Tomáš Paprstka. Bývalý reprezentant v cyklokrosu a v horských kolech si jede vyzkoušet gravel proto, že ho nová disciplína baví.
„Mám v plánu odjet tři nebo čtyři závody. Pojedu trošku na punk, kolo mi skládají až dnes. Díval jsem se ale na trať závodu a absolutně mi vyhovuje, “ uvedl před startem. Těší se i na diváckou kulisu ve Střeni.
Hlavní závod startuje ve 13 hodin, projede celé Litovelské PomoravíZávod nabízí také řadu doplňkových jízd pro děti a mládež, což Jaroslav Kulhavý vítá.
„Mladým bych vzkázal, aby si vyzkoušeli a užívali co nejvíc cyklistických disciplín, může je to jenom posunout v té jejich prioritní. Stačí se podívat na Van der Poela, Pidcocka, Van Aerta, a další, “ říká.
Program startuje v sobotu ve Střeni už ráno, začínají nejmenší děti závodem za kulturním domem na zabezpečeném okruhu, větší děti pojedou o chvíli později starou trať, na které se dříve jezdil závod O pohár vesnice Střeň.
Závod Hanácké Gravel začíná ve 13 hodin. Trasa vede směrem na Litovel a projede se celé Litovelské Pomoraví.
Ve 13:10 pak bude startovat na kratší trati závod horských kol.
Ambasadorem závodu je Tomáš Konečný.
