Muroň šestý v časovce na ZM nejmladších

Kadet Matyáš Muroň z Favoritu Brno se blýskl šestým místem v časovce na 15 kilometrů na Závodu míru nejmladších v Jevíčku. Na startu se sešla skvělá konkurence v podobě 160 závodníků ze 14 zemí. „Měli jsme na co navazovat, vloni skončil Štěpán Telecký celkově druhý,“ prozradil šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal. „I letos jsme měli vyšší ambice, ale Matyáš Muroň jako náš lídr má po pádu na poháru v Kyjově problémy se zády a není v optimální pohodě. Přesto dokázal v té nabité konkurenci zajet skvěle závěrečnou časovku, což mě potěšilo,“ dodal. „Velmi dobře se prezentoval i Kristián Vavro, který byl v časovce na 19. místě a celkově skončil jako nejlepší ze závodníků Favoritu 29. Je to prvoročák a velký příslib do budoucna,“ chválil šéftrenér. Favorit Brno startoval v sestavě: Matyáš Muroň, Kristián Vavro, Michael Smith a Ivo Opluštil.
