„S výkonností kluků během celého roku i s výsledky jsem spokojen. Měli jsme dva starší kluky, Hampla a Sekaninu, ale zbytek sestavy byl hodně mladý Kulhánek, Rotter, Kmínek, Voneš, Procházka, protože tam byli hned čtyři prvoročáci a jeden druhoročák. Přesto se do týmu dokázali rychle zapracovat. Každý sice měl nějaké výkyvy, což je normální, ale všichni si v týmu dokázali najít svoje místo,“ řekl šéftrenér Favoritu Brno.
Tahounem týmu byl Petr Hampl, který potvrzoval roli lídra celý rok. „Jeho celková výkonnost byla velmi dobrá. Dokládá to čtvrté místo v poháru celkově, na mistrovství republiky byl v nabité konkurenci jedenáctý, startoval na mistrovství Evropy a na Evropských hrách v Minsku. Byl druhý na RBB Tour, kde navíc vyhrál etapu,“ chválil František Trkal Hampla.
„Ale zdaleka to nebylo jen o Petrovi. Třeba Michal Rotter se stal vicemistrem republiky v časovce U23. To byla bomba, protože je mezi muži teprve prvním rokem. Dostal se i na mistrovství Evropy, což je skvělá vizitka pro celý Favorit. David Kulhánek vyhrál závod Českého poháru ve třiadvacítce a obsadili jsme čtvrté místo mezi týmy v celkovém hodnocení Českého poháru,“ vyjmenoval šéftrenér největší výsledky.
Je rád, že Petr Hampl zůstane ve Favoritu i příští sezónu. „Je to klíčový člověk nejen pro mě, ale i pro naše mladé závodníky, kteří se od něj mohou spoustu věcí naučit. Co se týče finální sestavy na příští rok, v tuto chvíli ji ještě nebudeme oznamovat. Ale mohou prozradit jen to, že z větší části zůstane tým beze změn,“ uvedl František Trkal.
Jeho svěřenci si kvůli hezkému počasí o pár dní letošní sezónu prodloužili, ale teď už většině z nich začíná zasloužené volno. „Teď si kluci dají zhruba měsíc pauzu, aby dobili baterky, a 22. listopadu budeme mít první sraz,“ prozradil šéftrenér.
