Vavro patnáctý na Závodu míru nejmladších
Kristián Vavro z Favoritu Brno skončil na Závodu míru nejmladších v Jevíčku v nabité konkurenci na solidním 15. místě. „Pro kategorii kadetů je to jeden z nejvýznamnějších závodů v Evropě. Startovalo celkem 170 závodníků ze 16 zemí, konkurence byla opravdu skvělá,“ přiblížil šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal. „Kristián byl naším lídrem a doufal jsem, že by mohl atakovat umístění v top 10. To sice o kousek nevyšlo, ale patnácté místo v té konkurenci je velmi dobré. Odvedl velice dobrou práci, byl druhým nejlepším Čechem v závodě. Jsem s jeho výkonem spokojen,“ dodal šéftrenér. V dresu Favoritu startovali ještě Šimon Matějek, Filip Richter, Jáchym Vlk a Matyáš Mokrý. „Jsou to prvoročáci a pro ně to bylo hlavně o sbírání zkušeností. Jsem rád, že to absolvovali a viděli, kde se pohybuje světový peloton,“ řekl František Trkal.
