Jan Voneš pátý na mistrovství Evropy
Hned dvojice závodníků Favoritu Brno startovala na právě uplynulém mistrovství Evropy a světa ve Švýcarském Aigle. Nejlepšího výsledku dosáhl Jan Voneš společně s Petrem Kelemenem. Společnými silami vybojovali krásné páté místo . „Madison je kombinace techniky, výkonnosti a sehranosti spolujezdců, takže jsem rád, že právě v této disciplíně patříme do širší Evropské špičky,“ pochvaloval si dobrý výsledek Honza. Do stíhacího družstva se s Honzou zapojil i Adam Křenek a v kombinaci s reprezentanty Janošem a Komínkem z Dukly Praha zajeli na 4 kilometry družstev velmi slušný čas 4:22. „Naším přáním bylo jet pod dvacet. Ale i to by na nejlepší nestačilo, světová cyklistika je o kus dál a o to víc mě to bude motivovat v tréninku do dalších let,“ hodnotil své vystoupení Adam, který má možnost startu v juniorské kategorii ještě příští rok. Vojta Řepa se zúčastnil s týmem mužů Českého poháru v Ostravě a dokončil na 24. Místě coby nejlepší junior. Štěpán Široký sbíral cenné zkušenosti v Rakousku na největší etapové akci pro kategorii kadetů, závodě Rad JugendTour. „Jde mi hlavně o to se co nejvíce naučit, získat zkušenosti, jet s nejlepšími v balíku, stále se zlepšovat“, vyjmenovává Štěpán cíle, se kterými do Rakouska přijel.
