Jandová slavila vítězství, Sekanina 10. mezi muži
Juniorka Veronika Jandová z Favoritu Brno zajela další parádní výsledek, když vyhrála závod Slovenského poháru v Kláštoru pod Znievom. Mezi muži byl Adam Sekanina desátý. Jandová dokonce absolutně vyhrála společný závod žen s juniorkami. „Trať Veronice vyhovovala a závod zvládla výborně. Po mistrovství republiky měla volno a teď už zase naplno trénuje. Vše směřuje k mistrovství světa v Innsbrucku, které je pro ni dalším velkým vrcholem sezóny,“ prozradil šéftrenér Favoritu Brno František Trkal. V závodě mužů na 150 km, který se jel ve zvlněném terénu, jsme startovali pouze ve třech ve složení Procházka, Sekanina, Hampl. „Pro Michala Procházku šlo o první závod po téměř dvou měsících, protože měl zlomenou klíční kost a teprve se vrací do závodního rytmu. Na to, že jsme jeli jen ve třech lidech, předvedli kluci dobrý výkon. Do cíle to přijelo hodně nadělené po skupinkách a s celkovým vystoupením jsem spokojen,“ říkal František Trkal. Závod vyhrál Kazach Galejev, Sekanina byl 10., Hampl 17. a Procházka 31. Mezi juniory skončil Kadlec 14. a Šimek 15.
