Telecký při premiéře na MS nezklamal

Štěpán Telecký z Favoritu Brno obsadil při svém premiéře na mistrovství světa v Belgii v časovce juniorů 33. místo, když na vítěze ztratil na trase dlouhé 22,3 km 1:48 min. Titul získal Dán Wang. „Umístění možná na první pohled nevypadá úplně top, ale je třeba si uvědomit, že Štěpán je prvoročák a ta ztráta na nejlepší není nijak závratná. Bylo to nesmírně vyrovnané, na top 10 mu chyběla necelá minuta. Časovku dokázal jet průměrem téměř 49 kilometrů v hodině, a to není vůbec špatné. Určitě se na tom dá stavět do budoucna a příští rok by měl i díky získaným zkušenostem zabojovat o lepší výsledek,“ zhodnotil šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal.
