Široký v sobotu vyhrál 1. závod Carla Kriterijní ligy
Junior Štěpán Široký na Stevensu vyhrál 1. závod série Carla Kriterijní ligy v Táboře a potvrdil tak svoji pozici lídra Favoritu pro tento typ závodů. Zároveň se v závodě ukázala schopnost výborné týmové práce ostatních závodníků Favoritu. Závod juniorů rozhodl až závěrečný dvojnásobně bodovaný spurt, kdy se rozhodovalo mezi do té doby vedoucím Fialou (ČEZ Cyklo Team Tábor), a Štěpánem Širokým z Favoritu. Závodníci Favoritu BRNO předváděli celý závod výborný týmový výkon, který vyvrcholil v několika posledních okruzích, kdy se na čele startovního pole seřadili Čepek, Jelínek, Telecký a ve vysokém tempu dovezli Širokého až k 10 bodům v posledním bodování a hlavně celkovému vítězství! “Rozhodl samotný závěr, který jsme jeli týmově super. Celkově to bylo v pohodě a výsledek tomu odpovídá, ale byl to hodně těžký závod. Věřil jsem si na pódium, ale na vítězství moc ne. Počítal jsem, že největším soupeřem bude Fiala a to se potvrdilo,” řekl Štěpán Široký. Do pětadvacítky konečného pořadí se vtěsnali ještě 5. Marek Jelínek, 17. Martin Čepek a 25. Štěpán Telecký. V kadetech byl Matyáš Muroň na 11. místě a kadetka Martina Štefanová obsadila 16. místo.
