Devět titulů pro SCM2020 při Favoritu Brno
Nejdůležitější závod sezóny, silniční mistrovství České republiky se letos jelo ve Vidnavě v Jeseníkách. Hned úvodní den šampionátu vyšel našim závodníkům nad očekávání. Titul v individuální časovce získala Veronika Jandová v juniorkách i Štěpán Telecký v kadetech (oba Favorit Brno). Titulem nás podpořila i Anička Jaborníková v kadetkách a Veronika Jadrná bronzovou medailí v žákyních ze Sportcomplexu Břeclav. Pochvalu si zaslouží i David Karásek za šesté, respektive Štěpán Široký za osmé místo. „Titul v individuální časovce beru po 4 letech“ zářila v cíli Veronika. Štěpán zase prozradil, že de o jeho vůbec první titul ze silničního mistrovství republiky. Šampionát pokračoval časovkami dvojic a družstev. Matyáš Muroň a David Karásek se vybičovali k úžasné jízdě a zaslouženě brali stříbrné medaile. Kadetské družstvo ve složení Štěpán Široký, Štěpán Telecký (oba TJ Favorit Brno) a Marek Jelínek (Cyklo Mikulášek) doplněné na startu o Viktora Padělka bralo po dramatické jízdě, stříbrné medaile. Juniorská dvojice Veronika Jandová a Tereza Obořilová (Drahanský sport) po bezchybné jízdě zaslouženě oblékla trikoty národních šampionek. Titul Veroniky Jadrné a stříbro Anny Jaborníkové (obě Sportcomplex) podtrhlo současnou sílu SCM2020. Silniční závod byl spíše ve znamení hromadných dojezdů, prosazovali se tedy rychlostně založení závodníci. V žácích se do TOP 10 vešli šestý Matyáš Muroň a devátý Ivo Opluštil. V kadetech výborně zaspurtoval Marek Jelínek (Cyklo Mikulášek) a získal stříbrnou medaili, pro bramboru si dojel Štěpán Široký. Juniorky ovládla Tereze Obořilová (Drahanský sport), zatímco Veronika Jandová zůstala těsně pod stupni vítězů, ale i čtvrté místo je úžasný výsledek.
