Favorit Brno úspěšně válčil na čtyřech frontách

Velmi různorodý program měli mladí závodníci TJ Favoritu Brno, kdy jsme měl zástupce v Itálii, Švýcarsku, Slovensku i dráhovém závodě v Prostějově. Nejvýraznějšího úspěchu dosáhl Vojta Řepa v Itálii, když devátým místem v časovce položil základ pro konečnou 15.pozici. Dalším zástupcem v reprezentačním dresu byl Adam Křenek, který ihned po návratu z dráhového MS odjel na silniční etapák do Švýcarska. „Věděl jsem, že to po dráhové přípravě nebude ideální, ale byla to velká cyklistická škola,“ hodnotil Adam. „Jde o mladého závodníka a zkušenosti z takto významných závodů se budou v budoucnu velmi hodit“ chválil Adama Lukáš PETR. Vítězství v omniu přidal na Memoriálu Otmara Malečka i v Českém poháru Jan Voneš. „Maleček ještě nebyl úplně ideální, ale na ČP jsem se již rozjel, cítil se výborně a tomu odpovídaly i výsledky,“ konstatoval Honza. Úspěch Favoritu Brno podtrhl třetím místem Štěpán Široký. Pěkných výsledků Dosáhl i Vojta Kadlec na mezinárodním etapovém závodě na Slovensku, když skončil celkově na 13.místě a Veronika Jandová, pro niž nebyla vypsána kategorie, ale v rámci přípravy na MS se rozhodla potrápit kluky a celkovou 51. příčkou, což znamenalo přibližně půli startovního pole se jí to rozhodně povedlo. „Potřebujeme, aby Veronika závodila v kvalitní konkurenci, což kluci určitě jsou,“ zdůvodnil její účast Lukáš PETR. „Mladí závodníci Favoritu Brno předvedli během uplynulého víkendu několik výborných výkonů, jsem rád, že se nám letos daří napříč všemi kategoriemi,“ pochvaloval si budoucnost Favoritu Brno šéftrenér František Trkal.
