Hampl startuje vedle Štybara na mistrovství Evropy
Petr Hampl z Favoritu Brno byl nominován do reprezentačního týmu na mistrovství Evropy, které hostí Glasgow. Ve Skotsku se představí v silničním závodě jednotlivců mj. po boku lídra českého týmu Zdeňka Štybara z týmu Quick-Step Floors. Ve výběru reprezentačního trenéra Tomáše Konečného pro silniční závod figurují ještě Josef Černý, Alois Kaňkovský, Vojtěch Hačecký a Jan Bárta, všichni z týmu Elkov Author. „Pro Favorit Brno je start závodníka na šampionátu tou nejlepší reklamou. Petr si nominaci určitě zaslouží, protože celou sezónu předvádí dobré výkony,“ řekl šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal. „Jeho ambice v závodě jsou dané, měl by především pomáhat lídrům. Je tam jeden z nejlepších klasikářů světa Zdeněk Štybar, a kdyby spurtoval balík, pak Alois Kaňkovský. Věřím, že bude platným členem týmu a v závodě bude vidět,“ dodal František Trkal.
