Volba ve vypletených kolech padla na Fulcrum, přesněji typ 700 DB DRP s pevnými 12mm osami. Ani zde není co vytknout, jak z pohledu váhy, tak upevnění. Dává smysl, že ostatní komponenty jsou s přihlédnutím na cenu v režii mateřského Oxygen, povětšinou Scorpo Road a Aero. Sečteno a podtrženo, 10 kg váhy pro tuhle gravel/cyklokrosku se vším výše zmíněným osazením.
Gavere na to jde i pro rok 2020 chytře – nenechává slabé místo, nebrání se případným vylepšením a stále dokáže oslovit od silničního cyklisty, který má v okolí samý rozbitý asfalt, po zarytého cyklokrosaře s omezeným rozpočtem. Vlastně na něm klidně můžete jezdit i do práce a nahodit blatníky. Záleží pouze na volbě plášťů, které tento oblíbený model od výrobce z Hamburku překlápějí buď na jednu (silniční), či druhou (terénní) stranu. Již tak zdatný univerzální charakter si můžete jednoduchou změnou vyladit přesně pro sebe. A to se počítá, když doma může být jen jedno kolo.
