Skvěle zahájená domácí sezóna a pozvánka na SP v Novém Městě na Moravě s kolínskými závodníky
Již tento prodloužený víkend nás čeká absolutní svátek domácí cyklistiky. Světový pohár v Novém Městě na Moravě, u kterého samozřejmě nemůžeme chybět. A budeme rádi, když u něj nebudete chybět ani Vy. Můžete se těšit hned na 7 našich reprezentantů. Tato šťastná sedmička se skládá ze tří juniorů, kteří si jdou pro velkou mezinárodní zkušenost (Dominik Hřebejk, Richard Severyn a Dominik Kukla), tří závodníků kategorie U23, kteří na domácí scéně výborně zvládli přechod mezi dospělé a to samé se teď pokusí i na mezinárodní úrovni (Patrik Černý, František Hojka a Václav Naxera). Všichni tito jmenovaní startují v sobotu. V neděli pak bude týmové barvy hájit elitní závodník Matej Ulík.
Domácí sezóna odstartovala prvním Českým pohárem ve Městě Touškově a pro nás i první medailí z významného domácího podniku. Tu zařídil skvělou jízdou a velmi dobrým 3. místem v kategorii U23 Patrik Černý. Dobře si počínal i 6. elitní muž Matej Ulík. Ihned po prvním poháru vyrazilo duo našich reprezentantů do Rumunska na Mistrovství Evropy. Matej Ulík v kategorii elite v barvách Slovenska a Patrik Černý za Českou republiku. Patrikovi se podařilo prosadit už v disciplíně short track, kde nejprve na 17. místě postoupil ve velice náročné kvalifikaci ve smíšené kategorii elite + U23. Ve finálovém závodě pak bral 34. místo. V XCO závodě se mu dařilo také dobře, když obsadil 25. místo. Jeho starší kolega Matej Ulík vybojoval 30. místo.
Zejména v dospělé kategorii si naši mladí závodníci v Touškově nastavili vysokou laťku a jsme rádi, že na Zadově ji ještě zvedli, když všichni 3 naši mladí závodníci v kategorii U23 skončili v pořadí ohodnoceném UCI body. V rámci kategorie U23 bral 3. místo Patrik Černý, 4. dojel František Hojka a 5. místo patřilo Václavu Naxerovi. V elitní kategorii dojel 6. Matej Ulík. Po prvních dvou závodech ČP tak máme velmi dobře rozjeté i průběžné celkové pořadí. Matej Ulík je aktuálně 3. v mužích elite, Patrik Černý je 3. mužem do 23 let, i hned za ním pak máme na 4. a 5. místě Františka Hojku a Václava Naxeru. Zároveň naši muži suverénně vedou pořadí družstev.
