Představujeme tým juniorů Dukly Praha 2024
Tři borci ze stávající sestavy a hned pět nových cyklistů bude v sezoně 2024 tvořit juniorský tým Dukly Praha. Oznámil to trenér František Trkal. „Musím přiznat, že z podoby týmu na příští rok mám velmi dobrý pocit. Je dobře vyvážený, abychom byli schopni bojovat o nejvyšší příčky jak na silnici, tak i na dráze. Řešil jsem to s velkým předstihem, sestavou jsem se zabýval už od jara. Nechtěl jsem nic ponechat náhodě a měl jsem dopředu vytipované závodníky. Letos se mi tým skládal lépe než před rokem, protože jsem cítil, že závodníci mají velký zájem do Dukly chodit, což je dobrá vizitka pro všechny,“ řekl trenér Trkal, který do Dukly přišel před sezonou 2023. Juniorský tým Dukly Praha bude mít osm závodníků. Z letošní sestavy zůstávají Adam Bradáč, Kristián Vavro a Jan Faltýnek. „Příští rok budou druhoročáci a všichni tři by měli být hlavními tahouny týmu. Už letos zajeli dobré výsledky a když na sobě budou dál pracovat, mají předpoklady dokázat velké věci,“ uvedl František Trkal. Všechny nové posily budou v kategorii juniorů prvním rokem. Jsou to dva odchovanci TJ Dukly Adam Frajbiš, Aleš Icha, Šimon Matějek z Favoritu Brno, Ondřej Michalovič ze Sportcomplexu Břeclav a Filip Richter z Dukly Brno. „Jsem rád, že se nám podařilo do týmu zapracovat i dva odchovance TJ Dukly, což jsou Frajbiš a Icha. Máme nějakou farmu nadějí a je dobré, když si můžeme vytáhnout nahoru někoho z vlastních řad,“ řekl trenér. A jak vidí další tři posily? „S Matějkem jsem už spolupracoval při mém působení ve Favoritu Brno. Určitě má velkou perspektivu a můžeme o něm ještě hodně slyšet. Michaloviče sleduji už delší dobu, je to výborný tempař a neskutečný dříč. Věřím, že má týmu co dát. Richter se v Dukle Brno letos věnoval sprinterským disciplínám na dráze, já v něm ale vždycky viděl spíš vytrvalce. Měl by významně posílit naše ambice na dráze, kde má šanci se prosadit i v mezinárodním měřítku, ale ještě potřebuje zapracovat na kondici. Ale věřím, že bude dobrý i na silnici,“ dodal František Trkal. S novou sestavou odjíždí již 22. října na první soustředění do Harrachova.
