Dvojice juniorů Jan Voneš a Adam Křenek získala na domácím šampionátu stříbrné medaile. Závod v madisonu je vždy velmi prestižní záležitostí a zároveň byl posledním závodem letní dráhové sezóny. „Je to moje páté letošní stříbro“, vtipkoval Honza. „Stříbro je perfektní, zlatá dvojice pražské Dukly Kelemen-Voltr byla opravdu silný soupeř“, radoval se z medaile Adam. Pouhý den před mistrovským závodem se na brněnském velodromu jela tradiční akce Přilba Moravy, kde se právě zmiňovaným juniorům povedl husarský kousek, kdy se umístili v pořadí Voneš, Křenek na prvních dvou místech. „Tak tohle jsem opravdu nečekal. Mnohdy když chcete hodně, nemáte nic, ale dnes kluci ze závodu vytěžili maximum. Dokázali si vzájemně pomoci tak, aby obsadili první dvě pozice“, smál se po závodě Lukáš PETR. Úspěšný den pro barvy Favoritu Brno podtrhl Štěpán Telecký druhým místem v kategorii žáků. „Přilba je domácí závod, tak se všichni chceme ukázat. Těším se, až budu taky junior, abych mohl na kluky z týmu navázat“ vtipkoval po závodě Štěpán.
