TOUR DE SLAVIA 2020
Opět po roce v čase založení klubu listopad 1892 se konala narozeninová jízda. Před 128 lety, byl v Kaulichově domě na Karlově nám. založen ACOS (Akademický cyklistický odbor Slavia). Vzhledem k letošním omezením, byla letošní jízda již 1.listopadu a navíc štafetovým způsobem s dvoumetrovými rozestupy.
Vyjelo se z Ohrady, místa kde ACOS začínal svou činnost. Odtud se Karel Kopr současný předseda cyklistické Slávie, společně s Václavem Trojanem dlouholetým členem a trenérem, přesunuli k muzeu Slavie v Edenu. Zde již čekal 2 místopředseda Jiří Hledík. Dvojice Kopr, Hledík s doprovodem automobilu Peugeot, zapůjčeného společností Federal Cars Praha s cyklo zahrádkou od společnosti Rothlehner ČR, zamířil po Černokostelecké ulici směr Říčany, kde čekali další členové, konkrétně Ondřej Beran a Jan Kučera, za další dva km jsme se potkali s dalšími členy i fanoušky. Poté jsme se s rozestupy přesunuli do Kostelce nad Černými lesy. Položili jsme první z věnců na hrob nejvýznamnějšího slavisty, otce zakladatele MUDr.Jaroslava Hausmana. Tento muž byl nejen u založení ACOS, ale i později stál u vzniku následnické organizace, Sportovního klubu Slavia v Praze. V čele Slávie byl na postu předsedy téměř deset let. Z Kostelce štafeta pokračovala k Českému Brodu, druhý věnec doprovázeli Jan Marek a Roman Mašín. Tady nás již zastihl déšť, ale přesto jsme se dostali přes Sadskou, Lysou nad Labem do Brandýsa nad Labem. Zde se nachází hrob Františka Haupta, muže který reprezentoval Slavii v letech 1929 – 1936 a několikrát dokázal získat titul prvorepublikového šampióna. Po položení věnce a zavzpomínání nad úspěšnými cyklisty, kteří Slavii proslavili, třeba i za mořem například Otakar Rozvoda. Naše štafeta pokračovala zpět do Edenu, tuto část již v dešti absolvoval Michal Menšík. Celková délka této štafety, byla 130 km. Počasí bylo sice deštivé, ale déšť ani Covid nás od této akce neodradili.
Jako předseda klubu i jako účastník jízdy, chci všem moc poděkovat jak za účast, tak za pomoc s uspořádáním. Tour de Slavia, byla tečka za úspěšnou sezónou 2020 , kde hlavně díky našim podporovatelům jsme dokázali navázat na úspěchy našich předchůdců, a to jak na poli závodním, tak na poli pořadatelském.
