Michal Rotter: Titul v časovce je velkým snem, chci o něj bojovat
Michal Rotter se chystá na svou druhou sezónu v silničním týmu mužů Favoritu Brno. Vloni se blýskl mj. titulem vicemistra republiky v časovce U23 a letos je jeho velkým snem titul.
Vzhledem k tvým solidním výsledkům v minulé sezóně bys měl patřit k tahounům týmu. Jsi na tu roli připraven?
Ano. Myslím si, že mi toho minulá sezóna hodně dala a jsem díky tomu na novou sezónu dobře připraven jak po fyzické, tak po psychické stránce.
Jak jsou tvoje hlavní priority a cíle v sezóně?
Určitě bych se chtěl dobře připravit na závody v Rakousku, protože je tam větší konkurence a člověk se tam více ukáže. Na domácí půdě bych se pak rád ukázal na mistrovství republiky a také například na RBB tour, kde se mi minulý rok dařilo.
Jsi vicemistrem republiky v časovce. Je jedním z cílů pokusit se o titul?
K mistrovství republiky v časovce bych chtěl směřovat první část sezóny a dobře se na ní připravit. Časovka je mou doménou a rozhodně bych chtěl o ten titul bojovat. Ale je tam dost dobrých soupeřů, proti kterým to bude těžké. Myslím si, že více ukáže až sezóna, protože to bude hlavně o aktuální výkonnosti.
Máš za cíl i start na nějaké vrcholné akci v reprezentačním dresu?
Minulý rok jsem se zúčastnil s reprezentačním týmem Závodu Míru, který mi potom pomohl v dalších fázích sezóny. Myslím si, že tyto skutečnosti závodníka nejvíce pozvednou a chtěl bych se proto dostat s reprezentací na co nejvíce závodů.
Jak jsi spokojen s přípravou na novou sezónu?
Zatím maximálně. Do tréninku jsme s mým trenérem Františkem Trkalem zařadili i dost všeobecné přípravy, která je podle mě v tomto období hodně důležitá. Teď jsem s týmem na soustředění ve Španělsku, kde absolvuji spíše objemové tréninky a pracuji tam, kde je potřeba. Rychlost do tréninku zařadíme spíše až před prvními závody, které absolvujeme v Chorvatsku začátkem března.
Na čem ses před sezónou snažil nejvíc zapracovat?
V zimě jsem si dělal tréninky hlavně tak, aby mě bavily a po zátěžových testech, které jsme absolvovali začátkem ledna u MUDr. Zbyňka Pozdíška, jsem začal pracovat na slabinách, které se ukázaly.
Jaké máš cyklistické sny do budoucnosti?
V budoucnosti bych se chtěl dostat do nějakého solidnějšího týmu v zahraničí, ve kterém bych měl možnost dále výkonnostně růst a ukázat na některých vrcholných akcích.
