Testy a odlet na soustředění do Španělska
Cyklisté Favoritu Brno hned v prvních dnech roku 2019 tvrdě pracují, aby byli co nejlépe nachystáni na novou sezónu. Po zátěžových testech se část týmu vydala na soustředění do Španělska.
„Zátěžové testy jsme tradičně absolvovali u doktora Pozdíška a musím přiznat, že mě výsledky příjemně překvapily. Je vidět, že příprava jde správným směrem a kluci na sobě makají. Zároveň nám to ukázalo, na čem je třeba ještě zapracovat,“ řekl šéftrenér Favoritu František Trkal.
Část jeho svěřenců už se v těchto dnech chystá v ideálních klimatických podmínkách ve španělské Esteponě. „Jsou tam už ti starší závodníci, mladší za nimi ojíždějí 23. ledna, protože řada z nich ještě chodí na střední školu a mají studijní povinnosti,“ vysvětlil šéftrenér. „Budou tam všichni až do 17. února, mají tam ideální podmínky na přípravu. Všem se zatím vyhýbají zdravotní problémy, což je skvělé.“
Jediný, kdo do Španělska dorazí později, je Jan Voneš. „Honza se přes zimu věnuje i dráze. Teď startovali s Kelemenem z Dukly na šestidenních v Brémách, kde byli pátí v madisonu kategorie U23. Vzhledem k tomu, že jsou v této kategorii prvním rokem, je to velmi dobrý výsledek,“ přiznal František Trkal. Oba budou ještě od 24. do 27. ledna startovat na šestidenních v Berlíně a teprve poté se Voneš přesune za týmem do Španělska.
