MTB se loučí, krosy přicházejí
MTB sezóna se s námi již definitivně rozloučila. Po velice vydařeném domácím šampionátu ve Stupně a finále Českého poháru v Harrachově, ze kterých jsme přivezli velký počet cenných kovů se přesunulo naše snažení na závody světového formátu. Prvním v pořadí bylo Mistrovství Evropy v Mnichově, letos pojaté jako skutečný svátek sportu hned v několika sportovních odvětví. Naše elitní žena Tereza Tvarůžková zde svedla tvrdou bitvu v bahenní lázni a ve velmi silné konkurenci nejlepších evropských cyklistek se jen těsně nevešla do TOP20, když v cíli brala 22. místo. Nejvyšší metou bylo samozřejmě následující Mistrovství světa ve francouzském Les Gets. Zde nám největší radost udělal 24. junior Patrik Černý. Českou republiku zde reprezentovaly i Tereza Tvarůžková a Karolína Bedrníková.
Prostor pro přípravu utekl jako voda a my stojíme na začátku týdne, ve kterém nás díky státnímu svátku čekají hned dva závody Českého poháru v cyklokrosu. První v nám velice blízkých Holých Vrších a v sobotu pak v tradičním Hlinsku. Nejen závodníci A týmu se pečlivě připravovali pod taktovkou Honzy Slavíčka, který naplánoval soustředění završené nedělním tréninkem právě v místě prvního závodu. Těšit se tak můžete zejména na juniora Františka Hojku, který bude celou sezónu jezdit v dresu národního šampiona. Nebo na jeho kolegu Daniela Rubeše majícího ambice stát se oporou národní reprezentace. Velmi nás zajímají také výkony dvou nováčků ve svých kategorii. Prvoročáka v kategorii do 23 let Patrika Černého a prvoročáka v elitě Roberta Hulu. V neposlední řadě pak velkou podívanou přinese i závod elitních žen, kde se na start postaví i Tereza Tvarůžková. Ta již prokázala, že ji fyzicky velmi náročná trať na Holých Vrších sedí. Na startu bohužel neuvidíme úřadujícího mistra Slovenska Matěje Ulíka, jehož zdravotní stav si vyžádá delší závodní volno.
Holé Vrchy jsou těžkou tratí, ale zároveň našim závodníkům vždy seděly. Přijďte nás tedy ve sváteční den podpořit. 28. Září – Holé Vrchy 11:30 – junioři 13:00 – ženy elite 14:30 – muži elite
